Consults

A full range of private in-home consults are available to you to help answer your questions or to provide immediate support with your lactation needs.  

Yummy Mommy To-Be Consult:

A pre-natal overview and introduction of lactation for you and your spouse/partner or family.  You have most likely read the pregnancy bible, "What to Expect When You're Expecting", this consult will provide you with "What to Expect When Lactating and much much More".

Yummy Mommy Lactation Consult:

Lactating is natural but Latch is a learned skill shared between Mommy and baby.  This consult lasts up to 2 hours and includes:

• Feeding Observation and Assessment
• Latch explanation and practice
• Weight check for Baby
• Nipple issues and treatment
• Breast tenderness issues and treatment
• Supplement overview (when needed)
• Pump inspection, fit and instruction

FaceTime Consult:

For your convenience and when applicable FaceTime consults can be helpful.  To be clear it does not take the place of a full in-home consult but will serve to answer quick questions and address concerns when applicable.  

All consults are complete with full access to Yummy from Mommy professionals for all your follow-up requirements.  Email, text, FaceTime and phone support are all complimentary.
